Your dream wedding ceremony in the beautiful
Aquitaine region of South West France
Is it your dream to have your wedding in South West France? If so, I'm not surprised!
A beautiful location and stunning scenery.
Delicious food and a vast range of quality wines, all shared in a relaxed way with valued friends and precious family. This is the perfect combination for treasured memories.
And it's so much easier than you might think!
There are so many possibilities of venue ranging from the garden of a private home or luxury gîtes accommodation to the charm and grandeur of an ancient French chateau.
What many of my couples have chosen is to hire a quality venue in a beautiful setting where they have complete freedom to create their wedding, their way.
After a short visit to a UK Registry office for the legal marriage a week or so before, you then travel to France for your special ceremony with friends and family.
From the time we agree that I will be your minister celebrant, we will liaise by phone, skype video (or Facetime) and email so that I can create a ceremony to perfectly reflect your essence and uniqueness as a couple. Every detail is carefully planned so that you know you are in safe, professional hands.
Then on your special day, I am there to conduct your celebration of love. Tissues are usually needed!!
Here are two snippets from recent comments by happy couples....
If you're looking for a genuine and heartfelt celebrant, then look no further than Akasha. At first we were daunted by the prospect of choosing a stranger to officiate at our destination wedding in South West France. But then we found Akasha and any doubts and worries we had disappeared. From the outset it was clear that she is a genuine, heartfelt person who really cares about the people with whom she works. Akasha spent time getting to know us so that our wedding ceremony was truly personal and special. If you are looking for a unique wedding ceremony, Akasha is a fantastic choice. A wedding ceremony is an intensely personal thing. Therefore the person that oversees that ceremony needs to be of a special calibre. They need to be sensitive to your beliefs, your traditions, your guests, and patient with your never-ending questions. Akasha is such a person. Her warmth flowed from the minute she started speaking, putting everyone at ease. Our ceremony was simply perfect, simply divine. We both thank you from the bottom of our very happy hearts. The lovely team at The Local Buzz glossy magazine have very kindly included Simply Divine Ceremonies in their March/April 2020 wedding feature. As well as being a high quality magazine that's available for free in many Aquitaine outlets, it can also be read online. It's always packed with great information and articles which are very useful for English speakers and visitors. It's well worth a read! Just click the image and et voilà!
A wedding ceremony conducted by me is perfect for you if your ceremony is the heart of your celebration, and you value working with an authentic professional who genuinely cares that you have the ceremony of your dreams and the best start to the rest of your lives together.
Simply Divine Ceremonies are also ideal if :
You consider yourself to be spiritual rather than religious and therefore a secular ceremony is not enough for you
You don't want to be married in a place of worship but a ceremony with Registrars doesn't satisfy your needs
You and your partner are from different faiths and you want a mixed-faith fusion ceremony to honour both your traditions
You may have religious beliefs but your partner either doesn't share those beliefs and/or doesn't want to marry in a place of worship
